Shaheen Mamawala is a seasoned public service professional with a decade-long career in nonprofit, philanthropy, and government. Shaheen holds a Master of Public Administration (MPA) in Public Administration from Baruch College. She also completed a Bachelor of Arts in Public/Mass Communication Studies and another in Mass Communication/Media Studies from The College of New Jersey. Shaheen is passionate about collective impact and diverse perspectives in driving positive social change and equitable opportunities for all Americans. With her leadership style as a bridge-builder, she has held various positions and roles. She was a Senior Development Officer at VentureWell, Health Policy Advisor at NYC Office of the Mayor, Program, and Communications Associate at Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, National Urban Fellow at Enterprise Leadership at Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, and Social Innovation Fellow at StartingBloc. Shaheen has also worked at Teach For America as the National Manager, Alumni Career Programming and Strategy, Manager, Alumni Affairs - New York City, and National Recruitment Associate.
