Andrea Lum

Andrea Lum is an experienced academic and clinical physician leader currently holding the position of Chair of the Medical Advisory Committee and Director of Quality of Medical Care at London Health Sciences Centre. With a diverse background in developing quality indicators, patient experience, and accreditation, Andrea has been instrumental in promoting innovation through initiatives like Physician Indicators. Prior to her current roles, she served as Chief and Chair of the Department of Medical Imaging at both Western and London hospitals. Andrea has a strong history of engagement with medical and radiology associations, along with expertise in medical education, medical quality, patient safety, and healthcare information technology (HIT). Her professional journey includes specialized training in diagnostic radiology and a focus on body imaging, computed tomography, and magnetic resonance imaging from reputable institutions like the University of Ottawa and Vanderbilt University.
