Shermineh Rohanizadeh is a public relations professional with a decade of experience working with several startups, entrepreneurs, innovators, activists, and artists across various fields. Some of her expertise includes emerging tech, social impact, fintech, B2B, lifestyle, consumer, media, and non-profit world. She has worked for the State Department, launched a global street art campaign fighting against internet censorship at South by Southwest, managed PR launches for innovative products, and funding announcements.

She is skilled in high-level media relations, storytelling, and thought leadership. Throughout her career, she has secured press coverage in top-tier publications and news networks such as Forbes, CNN, The Washington Post, Business Insider, and more.

Shermineh holds a Master's degree in Public Relations and Corporate Communications from Georgetown University and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from UC Irvine.

Presently, she is working as a Senior Account Director at a PR consultant firm after founding her own PR agency, Shy Girl Public Relations. She has also previously worked at LFPR, Glen Echo Group, LLC, Voice of America-Persian News Network, and Public Affairs Alliance of Iranian Americans.
