In my role as Account Manger and Technical Lead within the Energy Solutions Business I have P&L and line management responsibility for an embedded team of energy professionals within a hard services FM contract at GlaxoSmithKline. Other responsibilities include providing technical leadership and mentoring for a team that is constantly challenged to identify solutions and opportunities within complex buildings and engineering systems. Prior to taking a leadership role on the GSK account I was Senior Energy Manager on the FM contract at Barclays Bank.Key Achievements:- Led the team to identify and implement £m energy projects in 2013- Secured projects budget £m for 2014 and identified project opportunities meeting acceptable ROI requirements- Exceeded client expectations - leading to contract renewal and growth in a challenging economic environment- Expanded the team and recruited additional high performance energy professionals

Norland Managed Services is a provider of building maintenance, energy and soft services within the UK and Ireland. In my role of Energy Manager I was responsible for project identification and implementation of energy projects across a range of clients – on a paid consultancy or speculative basis. Working alone and reporting directly to the Head of Projects I proposed energy efficiency schemes for interesting and challenging buildings such as The O2 Arena, The British Museum, 30 St Mary Axe (The Gherkin) and National Gallery, as well as a range of multi tenanted offices throughout London.

Joined Faber Maunsell (AECOM owned co.) as a Graduate Consultant and progressed over time to Principle Consultant within the Sustainable Development Group. Responsible for pitching and securing contracts and delivering Carbon Management and other energy consultancy services to a range of high profile corporate clients and Government bodies.- Member of strategic Government steering group for implementation of EU Display Energy Certificates. - Personally created the first iteration of the EPBD DEC Advisory Report- Won bids and delivered end-to-end Carbon Management programmes for a multitude of large commercial and public sector clients- Contributing author of CIBSE TM47 for Operational Ratings and Display Energy Certificates- Managed a research project into the type of information that building designers require to improve the energy efficiency of new and refurbishment buildings. BERR report published 2010.
