Amanda Palmer is an Australian-born creative entrepreneur, executive producer, series creator, showrunner, directing producer, and programmer. With a highly recognized and pioneering global career spanning film, music, docuseries, new media, multi-platform content, tech, and events, Palmer's expertise is in millennial-focused music docuseries featuring both contemporary and legendary artists across all genres. She has executive-produced Kanye West’s concept music film, 'Cruel Summer', which premiered during the Cannes Film Festival in 2012. She also co-financed and oversaw award-winning feature films like Ziad Doueiri’s The Attack, Nadine Labaki's Where Do We Go Now, and the Arab woman's director was the first to be nominated for an Academy Award in 2019.

Palmer is also the founder, executive producer, series creator, showrunner, director, producer, and strategist at Mandi. In addition, she has produced and presented CNN's "The Music Room" for three years, covering multi-genre artists for the cable services, and was the original Head of Entertainment for Al Jazeera English, where she created programs like 'The Fabulous Picture Show', and the cultural music/travel series, ’48', which reached 220 million homes. Palmer trained formally at the Australian Institute of Music and also performed as a singer-songwriter in various indie bands.
