Josh Miles is a multi-talented individual with a passion for branding, design, and marketing. With over a decade of experience in marketing, Miles has made a name for himself as a brand-obsessed strategist, speaker, author, and podcaster. He is currently the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) for the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS), a North American organization for marketing and business development professionals in the A/E/C industries. Additionally, Miles is the CMO for Codelicious, a startup that delivers full-semester computer science curriculum for grades 3-8, designed to be taught by any educator.
Miles is the author of "Bold Brand 2.0 - How to Leverage Brand Strategy to Reposition, Differentiate and Market your Professional Services Firm," a book that offers a unique perspective on branding and marketing, making it an essential read for any professional looking to reposition, differentiate, and effectively market their services. His point of view on branding and design is highly sought after, and he has spoken at various events across the country, including TEDx PurdueU, Indy Design Week, SMPS Build Business, and Content Marketing World.
Miles previously co-founded MilesHerndon, a branding agency that specialized in brand strategy, corporate identity, website, and user interface design. He has a Bachelor's degree from Purdue University, where he studied business and management, and he has also received numerous accolades for his work, including being named one of the Indianapolis Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 and 40 Under 40 by Delta Sigma Phi.
In addition to his professional expertise, Miles is also passionate about several hobbies, including photography, writing, cooking, playing the guitar, hitting the gym, and traveling to new places. He currently resides in Carmel, Indiana, with his two children.
