Devon Hirth is a talented digital product designer and engineer, with a solid background that ranges from research and design to engineering and delivery. He studied Graphic Design at Maryville University of Saint Louis, and later acquired a lot of knowledge and skills by taking courses in Human-Centered Design for Social Innovation, Data Science, Woodworking, Metalworking, Physical Computing, and Processing at respected institutions such as +Acumen, General Assembly, and 3rd Ward.
Currently working as a Digital Product Designer at The Mayor's Office for Economic Opportunity, Devon is responsible for reducing poverty and broadening opportunities for New York City residents. He is a firm believer in the power of collaboration and listening to people's insights to solve complex problems. He values creative and technical challenges and is passionate about overcoming them. In the past, he has been Lead Front-End Web Developer at Mayor's Office for Economic Opportunity, Design Fellow at Blue Ridge Labs @ Robin Hood Foundation, and Co-founder, Chief Design Technologist at Quadrant.io, among other positions.
