Elson Nash has over two decades of experience in government and higher education administration as well as non-profit management and community development with a specialization in housing and business development. His expertise includes government relations, higher education administration, real estate, and business development and management. Nash studied at St. Mary's College High School, the University of California, Berkeley, and Emory University for his diploma, Bachelor of Arts in Social Science and Masters in Public Health, respectively. He served as Team Lead for Promise Neighborhoods at the U.S. Department of Education and as Senior Advisor/Deputy Director for the White House Council for Community Solutions at The Corporation for National and Community Service. Nash has also served as Acting Director of Strategic Partnerships, Acting Director of Learn and Serve America, and Associate Director at The Corporation for National and Community Service. Additionally, he has worked as Deputy Director for U.S./Canada Programs at Ashoka-Innovators for the Public and as Executive Director of California Campus Compact at Campus Compact.
