David Waterman
David Waterman is a skilled lawyer with a background in civil litigation, white collar criminal defense, government regulatory and compliance, and appeals. He has more than four years of federal prosecutorial experience, having worked in the Appellate and Criminal Divisions at the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Florida. David has argued appeals before the Eleventh Circuit and directed federal and local law enforcement agencies in grand jury and wiretap investigations. Prior to joining the U.S. Attorney’s Office, David worked as a law clerk for various judges, including The Honorable Michael J. Melloy at the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit, The Honorable Mark W. Bennett at the United States District Court for the Northern District of Iowa, and The Honorable John A. Jarvey at the United States District Court for the Southern District of Iowa. He studied at several prestigious institutions, including the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law, the University of Cambridge, The George Washington University, and the University of Oxford. David is currently a Litigation & White Collar Associate at Lane & Waterman LLP.
