Holly Lang is an experienced economist whose main focus is using data and policy to address health inequities in society. She has studied health economics and policy at The London School of Economics and Political Science, and gained a Certificate in Foundations of Research in Health Equity at The Johns Hopkins University. With a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Economic Philosophy from Georgia State University, Holly started her career as a Communications Specialist at iXL Internet Excellence, and later became a Reporter and Editor at the Birmingham Post-Herald, Associated Press, and Pine Magazine.
She also worked as a Regional Editor at Southeast Performer and became a founding Editor of Pine Magazine, which allowed her to develop her interest in healthcare and investigate hospital accountability issues. Holly went on to join Georgia Watch as Health Access Program Director and Hospital Accountability Project Director, where she continued to work on healthcare advocacy at a larger scale. She then became Director of Community Benefits and External Affairs at Piedmont Healthcare before starting Fair Play, an organization dedicated to promoting equity and making healthcare affordable to all.
Holly is the current Founder and Managing Director of Public Goods Group. Her impressive history in healthcare advocacy has made her knowledgeable in health policy and equity research. She uses a combination of research, data analysis, and policy initiatives to confront health inequities in society. With her unique approach to promoting fair policies and community health, Holly has demonstrated her passion for ensuring equitable treatment for all.
