Annie DeWitt

Annie DeWitt is a highly accomplished writer, educator, and literary figure with a diverse academic background. She holds a Master of Fine Arts (M.F.A.) in Writing from Columbia University, where she also served as an instructor. Annie pursued her passion for English Literature at Middlebury College Bread Load School of English and earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree from Brown University. Additionally, she delved into the study of Art in Contemporary Society at Goldsmiths College, University of London.

Annie DeWitt is the Founder and Director of the Roxbury Writers' Residency, showcasing her leadership and organizational skills. She has shared her knowledge and expertise as a Visiting Professor at Skidmore College, Bennington College, and SUNY New Paltz. Annie has also served as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Barnard College, Bard College, and The New School. She has contributed to reputed publications like The Believer, Art+Culture, and BOMB Magazine as a writer and blogger. Annie's literary talent was further refined during her tenure as a Fiction Editor at Columbia: A Journal of Literature and Art as well as a Co-Founding Editor at Gigantic.
