Kathryn Minshew is an accomplished CEO, entrepreneur, and author. She is the driving force behind The Muse, a career-oriented platform that attracts over 70 million users annually. Minshew is an expert in helping individuals navigate their careers successfully by providing them with authentic and data-driven employer stories. Her platform also showcases unique employee experiences and values to help organizations to find the right fit for the right people.
Before founding The Muse, Minshew worked with the Clinton Health Access Initiative on vaccine introduction in Rwanda and Malawi. She also has experience as a business analyst at McKinsey & Company and previously worked with the U.S Department of State regional security office in Nicosia, Cyprus. Minshew has a BA in Political Science, French from Duke University, and studied International Relations at Institut d'Etudes politiques de Strasbourg.
In April 2017, Minshew published "The New Rules of Work," a Wall Street Journal National Bestseller. She believes in investing in company culture to build an organization that lasts, defining what a fast-growth startup looks like. While outside of work, Minshew enjoys being an adventurous traveler and a lover of snacks.
