Yuma Saito

Yuma Sato is the Managing Director of Tohmatsu Venture Support (TVS) with a background as a Japanese CPA and a visiting lecturer at Waseda business school focusing on Entrepreneurship and New business development.

He joined Deloitte Tohmatsu in 2006 after graduating from Keio University and later founded TVS in 2010 as an in-house venture, which has now grown to encompass 3 business lines, including startup incubation, new business development for large companies, and policymaking on new business.

Under his leadership, TVS has expanded to include 150 members and operates through 20 branches. Yuma is also the founder of 'Morning Pitch,' a renowned startup pitch event in Japan aimed at fostering business alliances between startups and large corporations.

Morning Pitch has been held over 110 times in Japan and has started expanding globally, with the first event in Singapore in 2015. Yuma Sato has also shared his insights through newspaper articles on entrepreneurship for Nikkei Sangyo Shimbun and has made several TV appearances discussing various aspects of entrepreneurship.

Yuma Saito has pursued further education at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy and holds a degree in Economics from Keio University. His professional experience includes roles like Founder and CEO, General Manager, and Business Development Division Director at Deloitte Tohmatsu Venture Support, along with prior experience as an accountant at Deloitte Japan.
