Designed and created the first chatbot to query databases in natural language via Slack, Skype, Alexa and Teams. Ran pilots with tier-1 companies like Salesforce, MassMutual, P&G, Richemont and Apple. Raised a $2.5M seed round. Built an international team with engineering in France and product, sales and customer success in the US.

CEO & Co-Founder

Led a new product initiative to open source a part of the Bouquet platform: OpenBouquet (OB), a platform for developers to build interactive analytical apps into any product. Evangelized OB's REST APIs while tentatively bulding a developer community.

OpenBouquet was used to build usage analytics applications for academic publishers such as American Physical Society, Bloomsbury Press, Alexander Street Press and expand our work with large customers such as ProQuest.

Opening of Squid's subsidiary in the US. Business development on the Scholarly Publishing market. Recruited and led a distributed sales team on the East and West coasts, addressing medium and large customers including Thomson Reuters.

Squid Solutions Inc

When it launched, NUMA was France's #1 accelerator and coworking space. It's flagship acceleration program, Le Camping, accelerated over 70 early-stage companies that raised $30M in seed capital with exits to Twitter and Intralinks. NUMA events attracted over 80,000 people in its first year.

As Chairman, I supervised the transition from the local non-profit Silicon Sentier to the international accelerator called NUMA, tripling its budget and surface and opening up new offices internationally.

Built our sales and professional services to roll out Customer Intelligence projects to companies like SFR (telco), Caisses d'Epargne (retail bank) and online classifieds: Topannonces, Logic-Immo, Figaro Classifieds.
Pioneered analytics for big data in enterprise datawarehouses (Teradata, Greenplum) and provided stand-alone appliances called Squidbox to equip customers with their first analytical datawarehouses.
Created a Data Management Platform for digital agencies to run data-driven online advertising, operated for iProspect and FullSix.
Launched our own hosted online massively parallel analytical datawarehouse powered by Dell / Greenplum, providing big data analytics services to companies like Elsevier and e-commerce sites.
Signed new customers in the US (ProQuest, Thomson Reuters) and led business development missions on East and West coasts, leading to the opening of a subsidiary and my relocation in the Bay Area.

Created Squid Solutions and sold to its first customer, the telco Sunrise in Switzerland.
Built Squid's initial product vision, pioneering big data analytics with a new technology for in-database analytical queries for massively parallel databases, which led to our first recurring contract with eBay.
Raised seed funding from private angels and public grants.
Performed consulting missions in Customer Segmentation and Churn management for telcos.
Chaired telco conferences across Europe.
