Christopher Roach is a highly accomplished architect and educator with a strong background in design and architecture. With a Bachelor's degree in Architecture from The University of Texas at Austin and a degree in Design from Harvard University Graduate School of Design, Roach has built an impressive portfolio comprising high-end residential, commercial, and mixed-use buildings.

Roach currently serves as Senior Adjunct Professor and Co-Director of the Urban Works Agency at California College of the Arts. He has also previously served as Co-Coordinator of the Urban Works Agency and as an Adjunct Professor at the same institution. Roach has taught design principles, sustainability, and urban design to graduate and undergraduate students.

Before transitioning into academia, Roach worked as an Associate at LMS Architects and Leddy Maytum Stacy Architects. He also served as a Project Architect and Project Designer at Mark Horton Architecture and as a Maud at Harvard University. Roach has collaborated with various organizations, including the Rebar Group, EHDD, and Behnisch Architekten, as well as undertaken individual projects under his firm, Studio Vara.

As a guest critic at UC Berkeley and the California College of Arts, Roach has offered valuable feedback on architectural design and construction. He has also been involved in urban planning and community design efforts aimed at creating sustainable, livable, and connected urban spaces.
