Led a series of special projects in IT and Operations requiring both strategic thinking and keen execution skills, including:- oversight and support for OD elements of the Friends Life integration;- a robust integration manual, leveraging the work and key learnings from the £5.6bn Friends Life acquisition by Aviva- an intensive global project, with close internal audit and regulatory review, working cosely with every business in the UK and internationally to ensure and assure the efficacy of Aviva's Outsourcing controls- review and redesign of the third party security assessment process and team.

Head of Integration Strategy & Execution

Special project to support the £5.6bn acquisition of Friends Life plc by Aviva plc:  Led the successful integration of Friends Life and Aviva UK customer and marketing teams, including coallborative development of the integrated operating model, organisation design and design of key roles.

Head of Customer & Marketing Integration

Responsible for design, development and governance of Aviva's leadership development philosophy, strategy and solutions for all levels of leadership for Aviva globally (Group Executive to Front Line Manager).  Key deliverables included:- Design and implementation of Aviva's Leadership Transitions Programme for 160 senior leaders across the globe through a time of significant upheaval.- Design of the Leading@Aviva global leadership model.- Design of the behaviours to embed the Aviva values and a Leadership 360 assessment to measure and support leaders in role modelling these behaviours.- Aviva's Executive Coaching global programme for top leaders across the Group, including ongoing management and budget.- Design and execution of the Leading@Aviva programme for Aviva's line managers across the globe.- Design and execution of Aviva’s top global leadership events to support the cultural transformation, focused on the intersection between leadership development and strategy of the business.

Global Head of Leadership Development Strategy

Led the development and implementation of Aviva's Organisation Development & Capabilities strategies for Aviva North America.  Key initiatives included: - Restructured the US and Canadian Learning & Development teams to create a combined North American Learning and Organisational Development team and book of work, reducing operating costs, divesting technical training into the markets, and adding strategic talent and organisational development capabilities.- Refreshed and adapted Aviva's UK Front Line Manager program to make it relevant for US and Canada, winning a Silver Award for training excellence.- Key North American lead to develop Aviva's Global Capability Framework, including leadership, shared core capabilities and technical capabilities.- Developed leadership capability across the region through a series of initiatives including the introduction of a North American senior executive coaching ‘program’ and two very successful leadership summits for the top 70 senior leaders in the region.

- Led the very successful launch of the Aviva Canada consumer brand through a multiple award winning external marketing campaign and strong internal employee engagement and organisational change work. - Led the development of the Aviva brand through innovative and integrated external campaign (including online customer engagement elements) and internal employee engagement work.  This included the conceptualization and launch of the award-winning Aviva Community Fund, an innovative digital solution supporting communities in the causes close to their hearts, which was then adopted across many of the Aviva businesses globally.- Led the development of the Aviva Canada customer experience including the conceptualization and launch of the award-winning Aviva Canada Customer Panel, initiation of customer journey mapping and customer segmentation work.
