Eric Poupier is a seasoned business leader with over 13 years of experience in operational/industrial and top-tier consultancy roles spanning France, Germany, USA, China, and the Nordics. His track record includes leading cross-functional teams in global, multicultural environments driving business transformation, value creation, cost savings, and margin improvement. Eric is a transformation and performance improvement leader in one of Carlyle's portfolio companies that powers the wind and industrial equipment space worldwide.

Eric began his career with Robert Bosch, holding several purchasing roles from Strategic Purchaser to Purchasing Manager at Bosch Rexroth China. He eventually rose to become a Principal at Bain & Company, where he advised global corporations' boards and PE investors on strategic issues. He later became EVP Strategy at FLSmidth, where he led the development and execution of business unit strategies, organic growth initiatives, and M&A from due diligence to deal to integration. He then joined Douglas Perfumery, holding roles as SVP Purchasing and Transformation and M&A, leading a substantial transformation program and implementing successful purchasing initiatives.

Eric's education is extensive; he studied preparatory classes for engineering school entrance competitive exams in mathematics and physics and achieved a B.S. Mechanical Engineering - Hydraulics from Institut national polytechnique de Grenoble. He also obtained a Master's degree in Supply Chain Management from HEC School of Management and an MBA in Finance from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
