Derek J. Manuge is a highly educated and accomplished professional with expertise in financial risk management, blockchain technology, and entrepreneurship. He holds advanced degrees from the University of Guelph and has pursued further certifications, including the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) and Financial Risk Manager (FRM®) designations. Mr. Manuge has held a variety of leadership roles throughout his career, including as Chief Technology Officer and Co-Founder of Railz.ai, a start-up that helps businesses access financial data. He has also worked as an Economist at Key Living and as Manager of Model Validation at Scotiabank. Mr. Manuge is a former Steering Committee Member of the Blockchain Risk Research Group, an advisory organization dedicated to exploring risk management challenges in the blockchain space. He is also a former Start-up Advisor at The BlockchainHub and an experienced consultant, having served as Director of Manuge Consulting Inc. In his most recent role, Mr. Manuge was Chief Executive Officer and Director of Corl Financial Technologies, a platform for revenue-sharing investments.
