Monica Barroso is a consultant, facilitator, and ICF accredited coach with nearly 20 years of experience in socio-environmental, human, and organizational development. She holds a degree in Business Administration from Fundação Getúlio Vargas and a MSc and PhD in Social Policy from the London School of Economics. Her passion for the meaning of work in people's lives has led her to become involved with socio-environmental ventures and inclusive businesses in Brazil. Through initiatives that seek integrated solutions between work, knowledge, and personal values, she has contributed to the question of the future and purpose of work, an essential point of the age in which we live.

Monica has previously served as Executive Director at Garupa, Faculty Member, Coach, and Head of Learning at The School of Life Brasil, Executive Coordinator at Núcleo Oikos, and Researcher at Amigos da Terra Amazônia Brasileira, CIFOR, IMAZON. She has also founded and managed Zoé Inova, served as Co-founder and Director at Projeto Bagagem, and volunteered and served as a Project Manager and Social Entrepreneur at Projeto Saúde & Alegria. Currently, Monica is a Consulting Associate at EcoSocial, where she assists individuals, teams, and organizations on their pursuit of purposeful and authentic performance.
