J.J. Guy - From Hacker to Executive, Building and Executing a Product Vision

J.J. Guy is a cybersecurity professional who has been involved in startups, big companies, and government projects. He has been preaching about the inevitability of security breaches since 2003 and uses his intimate understanding of industry vulnerabilities to build and execute a product vision. J.J.'s strength lies in building strategic visions and guiding teams towards the goal. He is a disciple of Marty Cagan for building product management and engineering teams, Patrick Leoncini's models for building healthy organizations, and Patty McChord's book for filling in the gaps. J.J.'s formal education includes obtaining a BS from Case Western Reserve University and pursuing an MS from The Johns Hopkins University. Additionally, he has been a founding member, officer, ranger, CTO, and COO in various organizations throughout his career, including Carbon Black, Inc., Sevco Security, JASK (now Sumo Logic), ManTech, the USAF, and Philmont Scout Ranch.
