John George

John George is a sophomore at Columbia University, studying Political Science and is interested in education policy. With a considerable background in New York City politics, including internships at The Advance Group and Councilmember Mark Levine, John has gained expertise in grassroots campaigns and land-use policy. He also has journalism experience, including working at Merion West as an interviewer. His skillset includes video editing, web design, graphic design, as well as being the founder of Rome Visuals. John is the current President of the Columbia Political Union and has participated in MIT Launch at Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
