I work alongside Dr. Christopher Lee, Ph.D., RN, FAHA, FHFSA (Associate Dean of Research, Professor) to perform statistical analysis and fact-checking on research conducted in the field of “Heart Failure Symptom Biochemistry” and more recently, the effects of the dyad and gender on effective care management of chronic illness. I have edited and co-authored three publications in established research journals (Journal of Cardiovascular Nursing and Heart and Lung – The Journal of Cardiopulmonary and Acute Care).Through this fellowship, I have also helped to develop projects to better market the Connell School of Nursing to prospective faculty and students that also proved the creditability of the research being conducted on our campus.

Represent the Global Public Health program to prospective BC students and help the GPH team answer inquiries from undergraduate students interested in the minor, particularly as a student in the Connell School of Nursing among other academic programs. Additionally, I am able to offer insight to new students accepted into the minor regarding classes and any general BC information. Provide input from a student perspective and be the catalyst to assist the program in building a stronger community within the public health cohort of students.Help promote Public Health initiatives within the study body at BC.

Worked to develop materials (PowerPoints) supporting their Vaccine Education and Equity campaign -- Protected Together -- ahead of the flu season and in preparation for the release of a COVID-19 vaccine, especially in efforts to combat vaccine misinformation. Assisted in choosing and announcing winners via graphics for their Mental Health Matters video contest.

Provided and commended for high-quality patient care on their three specialty units: acute rehabilitation, long-term care, and ALZ/dementia care; would typically be assigned 8-10 patients per shift. Rose to the challenge when adaptations to care practices were made in lieu of COVID-19.Preserved patient dignity and minimized discomfort while carrying out responsibilities such as transferring, bedpan changing, diapering, emptying drainage bags, bathing, and other ADL functions.

My main role at Shaloh House helped to foster positive growth and development for children in ages that range from three months to five years old. I worked well with fellow teachers to create and facilitate lesson plans or crafts during the day, some of which help to educate students on their culturally Jewish identity.
