Phillip Hargrove is an accomplished aerospace engineer, educator, and NASA Launch Vehicle Trajectory Analyst. With a passion for space that goes back to his childhood, Hargrove has cultivated a career devoted to exploring the cosmos. His training includes a Masters of Science in Engineering (Aerospace) and a Masters of Engineering (Space Systems Engineering) from the University of Michigan. Hargrove has held several positions throughout his career, including Adjunct Faculty Instructor at Florida Institute of Technology, Michigan eXploration Laboratory (MXL) Graduate Research Assistant at University of Michigan Aerospace Engineering Department, and Engineer Systems 2 at Northrop Grumman Corporation. Hargrove's expertise is in launch vehicle trajectory analysis, and he has also worked on several space exploration projects, including as a Summer Intern at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory. Hargrove is also a former Graduate Student Instructor at University of Michigan Aerospace Engineering Department. With a contagious enthusiasm for his work, Hargrove hopes to inspire young people to pursue their dreams of exploring space.
