Michelle Spies is a versatile and accomplished Northwestern University alumna with a passion for comedy writing, improv, and film. With a solid background in Radio/TV/Film, Michelle has honed her skills as a comedy writer, freelancer, improviser, and comic, earning her stripes as a writing fellow for The Onion and a contributing writer for ClickHole. Her experience as a review reader at Rotten Tomatoes has given her a keen eye for detail and nuance. Michelle is currently a marketing copywriter at DistroKid, where she brings her expertise in copywriting and creative writing to the table. She is also a former editorial intern at Onion, Inc. and a film faculty associate at Northwestern University. In her spare time, Michelle enjoys studying sketch comedy writing at The Second City and honing her skill as an improviser at iO Chicago.
