Martin Nelson is an accomplished executive in the fields of Human Resource Management and Organization Development consulting, with more than twenty years of experience. Nelson's main aspiration is to promote individual and organizational effectiveness by utilizing theoretical models and behavioral science principles. He is a skilled strategist and team-builder, with extensive experience in conflict resolution, leadership development, and improving worker-management relations. His broad professional background includes working with unions and navigating collective bargaining situations, as well as effecting cultural and systems changes within public, private, and NGO organizations.

Nelson completed a Master of Science degree in Organization Development at Pepperdine Graziadio Business School, and certificates in Organization Development from the Stanford University Executive Program for Organizational Change, and Labor Relations from Cornell University. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from the University of California at Berkeley.

Nelson's organizational involvement includes serving as a Steering Committee Member for the Linkedin Nicaragua F2F Planning Committee, as well as formerly acting as Chairman of the HOA Golf Committee at Hacienda Iguana Beach & Golf Resort, Tola, Nicaragua. He has also been a Partner at Taylor-Nelson LLC, Vice President and Treasurer of the Hacienda Iguana Homeowners Association, and a Director of HR and Employee Relations at the City of Oakland, Director of Human Resources at the County of San Bernardino, Director of Personnel and Employee Relations at the City of Beverly Hills, and Manager of Labor Relations at Libby McNeill & Libby.
