Mony Chau

Mony Chau, a native of Long Beach, CA, is an accomplished individual dedicated to enhancing opportunities for underrepresented students in higher education.

Recipient of the prestigious Gates Millennium Scholarship, Chau pursued his academic endeavors at San Diego State University, earning a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and a Master's in Public Health with a focus on Health Management and Policy.

With a passion for fostering diversity and overcoming challenges, Chau has held various roles in different organizations, including positions at San Diego State University, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Kaiser Permanente, U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, and more.

His mantra 'diversity through adversity' exemplifies his commitment to creating pathways for low-income minority students and advocating for their advancement in higher education.
