Brett Jones is a renowned inventor and product developer with over 15 years of experience in innovating with advanced sensing and display technologies. Jones is a PhD holder in computer science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, having explored the intersection of computer vision and design. Prior to his current role as Head of Product at Amazon Devices, Jones co-founded the VC-backed startup Lightform, where he made projection mapping easy with computer vision. Before that, Jones worked with Walt Disney Imagineering and Microsoft Research, where he developed projection mapping tools and advanced AR concepts, respectively. Jones is an expert in XR (AR/VR), projected AR (projection mapping), and spatial interfaces. He resides in the San Francisco Bay Area.
