Samantha Mandell is a well-educated lawyer with extensive experience in legal counsel and law clerk positions at various organizations. She holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from UC Davis School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.), English Language and Literature/Letters from UC Davis. Currently, she works as Legal Counsel at California Medical Association after having worked as an Associate Counsel and Post-Bar Law Clerk at Flexport. Her past experience also includes Legal Extern positions at the U.S. Department of Education, Office for Civil Rights, and the California Attorney General, Civil Rights Enforcement Section. Additionally, she has served as a Certified Legal Intern at California Attorney General, Criminal Division and as a Law Clerk at United States Attorney's Office, Eastern District of California. Prior to her legal career, Samantha also worked as a Human Resources Manager at ASUCD Unitrans and as a News Director and Transit Driver at KDVS 90.3 FM and ASUCD Unitrans, respectively.
