Assemble is a smaller client services company which has larger clients so developers often end up wearing many of hats. At Assemble my main contribution has been as a mobile iOS engineer but have also worked on Rails backends, server-less backends and React frontends primarily deployed on AWS.

At Ratio I was an iOS/ tvOS developer. I used a little bit of Objective-C for older projects and frameworks but Ratio was an early adopted of Swift and I spent about a year writing solely in that language.

Ratio LLC

At Deloitte Digital I was a QA engineer on the REI flagship team. We developed the main REI e-commerce apps for iPhone, iPad and Android. I was one of 2 QA engineers on the team with a heavier focus on the more technical aspects of our role, like managing our build servers and testing service integration.

Quality Assurance Engineer

As a Genius at Apple, my job was to troubleshoot software and hardware issues on computers, iPhones and iPods. In that role most of the issues I triaged were software related. The work experience and training I received at Apple increased my proficiency in systematic troubleshooting with software. My problem-solving experience at Apple along with my desire to continue the growth of my knowledge of software development has equipped me well for a profession in quality assurance.
