Nicole Rizzo, a Partnership Associate Team Lead at Mentor Collective, is a lifelong learner, educator, and literacy leader. She has studied both Sixth-Year Diploma in Remedial Reading and Literacy Consulting at Southern Connecticut State University and a Master of Science in Education at the University of New Haven. Her undergraduate degree from the University of Connecticut School of Business is in Marketing.

She specializes in best practices in literacy instruction and culturally responsive education, with an unwavering commitment to closing the opportunity gap for students.

Prior to working at Mentor Collective, Nicole utilized her skills as an educator with Woodbridge Public Schools, as well as in business and marketing roles with Hearst Magazines and Viacom.
