Ankit Aggarwal is a Senior Software Engineer and Tech Lead with almost six years of experience in Machine Learning, Distributed Systems, and Computer Vision. Aggarwal holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Stony Brook University and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology. Previously, he worked as an Autonomy Engineer II and Software Engineering Intern at Uber ATG, working on object detection and tracking, and now he builds platform, pipelines, and infrastructure tooling for Aurora (previously Uber ATG) to iterate on autonomy workflows and develop self-driving cars. Besides his work, Aggarwal is passionate about the intersection of technology and society, enjoys outdoor activities, traveling and music, and is involved in open-source projects.
