Stephanie Farquhar is a seasoned strategy and research professional with over 15 years of experience at the crossroads of health, urban systems, and racial and social justice. She has worked in various capacities within local government, nonprofits, healthcare, and health systems. She focuses on creating data insights to drive health equity and system change. Her strengths lie in strategy, research, relationship and coalition building, and partnerships.

Stephanie holds a Ph.D. in Public Health and an MHS in International Health from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, an Academic Exchange in History from the Universite de Paris VII, a BA in History and Fine Arts from New York University, and graduated from The Hockaday School.

She currently works at the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene as the Director Of Social Research, Center for Health Equity and Community Wellness. Previously, she served as the Director Of Research And Evaluation, Health Access and Equity Unit, also at NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. Before that, she held the position of Director, Population Health Services at Children's Health and as Director, Charting the Course, Loaned to United Way Metropolitan Dallas at Children's Health.

Stephanie was also the President of Johns Hopkins Students for Barack Obama during the 2008 Obama political campaign and had a Research Internship at the International AIDS Vaccine Initiative.
