Jason Sukhram is an accomplished professional in the field of impact investing and global development, with extensive experience in the finance, non-profit, and public sectors. With a Bachelor of Applied Science degree from the University of Toronto and an MBA from the Rotman School of Management, he has developed a strong foundation in business, engineering, and leadership. He also studied at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, where he gained exposure to international business practices.
Throughout his career, Jason has held various positions that have allowed him to make a meaningful impact on society. He is currently a Senior Manager at the Centre for Impact Investing at MaRS Discovery District, where he specializes in helping enterprises raise capital for social and environmental causes. Prior to that, he worked as a Manager of Capital Advisory Services at MaRS, helping connect investors to promising ventures.
Jason has also worked for the Clinton Foundation as a Senior Financial Analyst, Program Fellow & Consultant, and Metrics Intern at the Clinton Giustra Enterprise Partnership. He has made contributions in portfolio management, research, and analysis, as well as monitoring and evaluation. In addition, he has worked at the Li Ka Shing Knowledge Institute at St. Michael's Hospital and the Institute for Leadership Education in Engineering at the University of Toronto.
As a dedicated and driven individual, Jason has also pursued further education by completing a MicroMasters Certificate in Data, Economics & Development Policy (DEDP) from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. His expertise in impact investing and his commitment to global development have led to many successful projects and initiatives.
