He has a worldwide network of relationships, which he has cultivated through his work in the music industry. Richard holds a Bachelor's Degree in Philosophy and Psychology, as well as a Master's Degree in Creative and Media Enterprises from the University of Warwick. He has been nominated for a “Marketing Genius” Award at the American Association of Independent Music Awards.

Richard founded Canvas Music Distribution and has worked as an A&R Consultant at Symphonic Distribution, Warner Music Group, and Kobalt Music.
