Sourav Banerjee is an experienced analytics and data science leader who has successfully built numerous data-driven solutions across different domains throughout his career. He currently leads a team of data scientists and engineers at TheMathCompany, where he creates data products to augment technical support. Sourav is responsible for partnering with business and IT teams throughout the machine learning lifecycle and delivering measurable ROI from data science.

Sourav obtained his Bachelor of Technology degree in Naval Architecture & Ocean Engineering from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. He also attended Kairali School and DAV JVM in Ranchi as a student. Prior to joining TheMathCompany, Sourav held leadership positions in data science at Cisco and QBE Insurance. He was also a lead consultant/data scientist at ThoughtWorks, where he was responsible for various data science roles.

Sourav's proficiency in analytics and data science is founded on his expertise in creating data-driven solutions across domains. He enjoys conceptualizing data science products, ideating and researching solutions, business communication of machine learning results, and delivering measurable ROI from data science.
