Mischa Wetzel is a seasoned VC investor with extensive experience in seed-stage venture firms and angel investing. He currently serves as the Managing Partner at Vireo Ventures, which focuses on electrification in renewable energy, e-mobility, and the electrification of cities and industries. Previously, Mischa held positions at PropTech1, innogy Ventures/Future Energy Ventures, and IBB Ventures, specializing in real estate innovation, energy, IoT, smart cities and mobility, creative industries, and ICT.

Mischa has a remarkable background in entrepreneurship that spans over a decade, including co-founding Germany's leading communications agency in the lifestyle segment. He is a graduate of the University of Warwick's Business School, where he earned his MBA with distinction, and the Freie Universität Berlin, where he studied Psychology.

Mischa has also taken on advisory roles for several companies, including helden.de and JoyBräu Functional Beer. He was previously an Operating Partner at PropTech1 and a Venture Partner at Future Energy Ventures.
