100 hours student placement at Fred's Place. This is a homeless service funded by St Vincent de Paul. My role was to assist the case managers, assist clients to find housing, kitchen duties and take part in daily workshops.This was an invaluable experience and I believe the lessons and skills I learned under the guidance of the Service Manager, Jason McDonald will benefit me greatly as I move through my career.

Vocational Placement

100 hours of student placement with MFO. This organisation is tasked with resettling refugees and migrants in the Gold Coast area. They work with clients from the time of arrival up until 5 years of being in Australia. My role was to assist the case managers, refer clients to appropriate avenues, and assist with some forms of immigration documentation. I also completed a number of professional tasks for the director of the organisation due to my strong oral and written english skills.
