Stephen Lyman is a multifaceted individual who has worn many hats in his professional and personal life. He is a Clinical Epidemiologist, University Professor, Author, Editor, Entrepreneur, and Alcohol Ambassador. He has a Master's Degree in Epidemiology from the University of South Florida and a Ph.D. in Epidemiology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
Stephen has worked as an Associate Scientist at Hospital for Special Surgery, lectured at Kyushu University, and has been an Associate Professor of Health Policy and Research at Weill Cornell Medical College. He is also a former Co-Founder and Co-Owner of Honkaku Imports, LLC and Honkaku, LLC, respectively. Additionally, he has served as an editor at Kampai.US and as Deputy Editor for Methodology and Biostatistics at The Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery, Inc.
Stephen Lyman is a man of varied interests and hobbies outside of his professional life. He is a passionate Chef, Filmmaker, Cyclist (Brompton), and Booze Nerd. He is also a certified Shochu Sommelier and consultant for the NY Market at Japanese Sake & Shochu Makers Association.
