Herald Chen

Herald Chen is a successful business executive with extensive experience in the technology and finance industries. He studied at the University of Pennsylvania's M&T Program where he got a degree in Engineering/Finance and later completed his MBA at the prestigious Stanford University Graduate School of Business. Chen is the president and CFO at AppLovin, a company that provides technology for mobile games.

Before joining AppLovin, Chen was a former board member at Teach for America Bay Area and an advisory board member at Ten Eleven Ventures. He was the chairman of the board at BMC Software, Optiv Inc, Epicor Software, and Mitchell International. Additionally, he served as a board member at GoDaddy and the chairman of the board at Internet Brands/WebMD.

Chen's expertise in private equity and his passion for technology, media, and telecom was honed during his time as a member of KKR. He works relentlessly to fuel the explosive growth of the games from the company's studio partners and its own studio, making those same technologies available to all game developers through AppLovin.
