Wendy Mills is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in media, radio broadcasting, researching, and interviewing subjects across a broad range of disciplines. She is a skilled writer, copywriter, public speaker (acting and MC), and social media specialist. Wendy has demonstrated success in coordinating promotions, sales, and teaching.
Wendy studied Communications at Utah State University and Liberal Arts at Colorado Mountain College. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Metropolitan State University of Denver with a BA in History and Communications (Broadcast emphasis) - Earth System Sciences, earning a GPA of 3.97. Wendy is currently pursuing her Masters in Elementary Education and Teaching at Metropolitan State University of Denver, where she holds a perfect GPA of 4.0.
Throughout her career, Wendy has served in a variety of roles across different industries. She started as a Bank Teller and Customer Service Representative at First National Bank of Colorado. Later, she opened and ran her own boutique, Treasures of the Nest, before joining the reporting team at MET TV. Wendy has since worked as a Host and Producer at KUNC-FM, Manager of Public Relations and Membership at Tesoro Foundation, Announcer, Public Affairs, Promotions at KVOD-FM, and Senior Account Executive, On-Site Training Sales, Voice-Work at CareerTrack.
Wendy's diverse background also includes experience as a Manager/Sales at Healthway Foods, Radio Show Host, News Anchor, Promotions Director, Producer at KNUS-AM in Denver, and Sales, Announcer, Music Host, Traffic, and Continuity at KYMG-FM, KYUK-AM/TV.
