Maria Withrow is an accomplished multi-cultural engineer, fluent in German, with a range of experience in product engineering, mechanical engineering, and materials science. She has a Bachelor's Degree in German Language and Literature, a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, and a Master's Degree in Integrated Manufacturing Systems Engineering, all with high GPAs, from North Carolina State University. Maria also studied mechanical engineering at the Technische Universität Berlin in Germany. Her parents, both in the medical field, instilled in her a strong work ethic and a drive to help people.

Maria has worked as a researcher at North Carolina State University, a Product Engineer Intern at Arthrex GmbH, a Senior Design Engineer Leader at Schneider Electric, an R&D Intern at MakerBot®, and a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Davis Standard GmbH. Her work has focused on incorporating mechanical engineering and materials science into medical technology, including implants and surgical instruments.

In her free time, Maria enjoys hiking, painting, and traveling the world to experience new cultures and perspectives. She has visited every continent except Africa and hopes to complete her goal soon. Maria is a warm and friendly engineer who always has a smile on her face and is known for approaching work with enthusiasm.
