Sara Frailich
Sara Frailich is a renowned anthropologist, insights leader, and innovation strategist with experience working with Fortune 500 companies worldwide. With a Bachelor's degree in Hebrew & Semitic Studies, Women's Studies, and Jewish Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and an MA in Anthropology and Women & Gender Studies from Brandeis University, Frailich brings a unique set of skills and expertise to the table.
Prior to co-founding the Design Research Collective, Frailich served as the Insights & Innovation Manager at 3M and the Design Research & Innovation Manager at Target, where she facilitated hundreds of UX and Human Centered Design studies. She has also worked as a Senior Research Strategist at Fusion Hill and as an Associate Jewish Chaplain at Macalester College. Frailich's experience includes ethnography, rapid and lean prototyping, service design, hybrid qualitative, human factors, formative study, contextual inquiry, usability testing, and more.
At the Design Research Collective, Frailich and her team leverage Design Thinking methodologies and market research expertise to help organizations innovate and discover new solutions, products, experiences and strategies. Their approach starts with deep customer exploration and understanding, followed by rapid iterations and experimentation. Frailich also teaches workshops and trainings on Design Research methods.
