Alicia Arranz Romera, PhD
Alicia Arranz Romera, PhD, is a dynamic professional who has transitioned from her academic background to Regulatory Affairs in the Pharmaceutical Industry. She has a solid foundation in pharmacy, having studied a Bachelor's degree and a Master's degree at Universidad Complutense de Madrid. She completed her PhD in Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Technology, where she developed drug delivery systems for neurodegenerative diseases using microparticles.
Alicia's research internships at the University College London and Harvard Medical School have given her the experience of working in multicultural and international teams. Her doctoral studies have resulted in several publications, some of which are first-author publications. She has also undertaken a post-graduate course on European Procedures for Drug Registration at Colegio Oficial de Farmacéuticos de Madrid, which has given her a great foundation in regulatory affairs.
She is currently employed as the Regulatory Affairs Manager at Bayer and has previously worked as a Medical Information Specialist and Regulatory Affairs professional at Roche Farma España. Furthermore, Alicia's interests go beyond her work, she is a travel enthusiast, nature lover, and foodie.
