Democracy Express is a 9 days immersive learning journey with 30 young future leaders. We were exposed to inspiring political leadership across party lines and engaged with progressive and unsung heroes within the political landscape across all levels. The goal was to build a positive narrative around politics, reclaim it as an important avenue of public service, introduce youth to different pathways to politics and build a community of future principled leaders.

Director Of Policy and Government Partnerships

A transitional role into India, at the Electric Mobility Initiative, helped shape the program strategy, raise funding, grantmaking, influencing the policy formulation and implementation at the national/state level.  Main highlights include:
-  Project manage 20+ projects worth $ 2 million nationally with project lead
-  Developed GoElectric digital engagement strategy, including managing the recent launch of the GoElectricIndia digital platform with the Vice President of India
-  Researched and developed the “Case for Trucking Electrification” for NITI AAYOG CEO Mr. Amitabh Kant and his team
-  Developed the “Assessment of Charging Infrastructure Strategy Requirements” technical research project at city level in partnership with Ola Mobility Institute and Lawrence Berkeley Lab, US

Lack of gender diversity and lack of knowledge of the same, especially in leadership positions in STEM fields has bothered me. Excited to start Bodhi!
Bodhi connects women across industries to discuss issues around career planning, negotiation, work place politics, breaking the glass ceiling and more. Bodhi also has a one on one program where high potential young women are paired with established women-business leaders for mentorship.

Leadership Southern California is a unique, experiential “master class” about Southern California. Designed for mid to senior-level working professionals from business, nonprofit, philanthropic and government sectors, you will explore regional issues such as the economy, education, transportation, goods movement and natural resources.
Fellows meet one Friday per month for eight months to experience deep exposure to regional issues affecting Southern California, focused on five counties: Los Angeles, Orange, San Bernardino, Riverside, and Ventura.
Leadership Southern California curriculum is taught by some of Southern California’s most innovative experts, enhancing behaviors and gaining skills they need to effectively lead collaboration and build strategic partnerships across sectors and with diverse stakeholders.

- Leading Sustainable, smart cities market vertical under the Market Transformation department, including competitive market due-diligence, identifying key partners and working on commercialization platforms.
-  Developing strategic corporate and government relations to support programs and projects with current portfolio.
-  Organizing and facilitating numerous high impact cross-sector multi-stakeholder dialogues, including panels, workshops, and site visits.

Projects:
-  2018: Led development, research, and data analysis for the Zero Emissions 2028 Roadmap 1.0 document under the Transportation Electrification Partnership.
-  2016-2017: Managed five of the six cluster multi-stakeholder groups to engage and explore six sectors here in the greater LA region - Energy, Transportation, Built Environment, Waste & Sustainable Materials, Water and Agriculture

-  Worked directly with Senior Water Director on waste water policy research for the Water Efficiency Task Force at Santa Clara Valley Water District and other strategic partner engagements.

Worked on the NTPC Tanda thermal power plant design, analyzing different options of fuel intake that could be taken and finding subsequent emissions.

Worked at the powder paints section of JOTUN PVT LTD INDIA plant in MIDC area. Had to analyse the factors which caused increase in production time and thus how to reduce time between two cycles of production.
