Nana Sono-Koree, PhD is an accomplished Biotechnology Professional and leader, with a proven track record of success in developing innovative analytic methods for protein therapeutics and clinical molecular diagnostics. Coming from a diverse educational background, with a Doctor of Philosophy in Biochemistry from Brigham Young University, and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Ghana, Dr. Sono-Koree's expertise lies in protein characterization through analytical method design and development. With a focus on project management, he has managed multiple complex projects that integrate scientific, legal, and privacy issues, from concept to commercialization, all the while ensuring compliance with FDA, ISO, and CLIA regulations.

Having developed, validated, and transferred multiple novel assays, Dr. Sono-Koree has significantly reduced production and labor costs in the industry. His expertise in engaging CROs in protein characterization, protein separation and characterization, customer relations, and operating and capital expenditure projection have helped him carve out a reputation as an analytical development scientist and consultant at ARUP Laboratories. In addition, his knowledge of HPLC, FPLC, GC, UV-VIS, FTIR, LC-MS/MS, carbohydrate, protein conjugation, ELISA, FRET, SDS-PAGE, SNP genotyping arrays, DNA/RNA technology applications, amongst others, has made him incredibly sought after as a leader in biotechnology analytics.
