Johan M Persson is a highly accomplished Swedish-born serial entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience in design management, innovation consultancy, and brand development. He is the Founder and Sr Innovation Director at C'monde Studios, a strategic design and innovation consultancy that specializes in user experience, customer discovery, service design, industrial design, and solutions at the edge-of-cloud. He holds a Master's degree from Stockholm University of Art Craft & Design and a BA from Umea University, Institute of Design (UID) Sweden, plus university courses in brand and design management. Throughout his career, Johan has worked with Fortune 500 companies and consulted for government organizations from Sweden and Hong Kong to drive business growth, create user-driven product development, launch new ventures, and solve systemic challenges. He is a strong advocate of human-centered development and co-creation, managing whole product roadmaps, UX and customer interviews, design thinking, product portfolio guidelines, customer insight management, and workshops facilitation. In addition, Johan is highly committed to circular economy and environmentally conscious product design processes. Johan's expertise has been recognized globally, as he is a frequently invited speaker, writer, and lecturer on the subject of innovation and customer-centric development for TEDx, CIDA, BODW, the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HK TDC), the Swedish Trade Federation, and several others. He has also received several honors and recognition over the years, including the TEDx Speaker in Umea, Sweden, A&D Trophy Awards jury member from 2017-2020, Speaker BODW Hong Kong in 2016, 40 under 40 (HK) Perspective A&D Award in 2007, ID Magazine (US) feature in the ID 40 List in 2007, and featured in the 2007 edition of the book "Design Now" by Taschen. Johan was also the BraunPrize finalist for the concept for Aprilia in 2002 and twice awarded the Young Talent Award (Ung Svensk Form) in 2000-2001.
