Monique Villa is a well-rounded professional with a rich background in the startup world. Having studied Bachelor Of Arts at UC Irvine, Monique has had several positions at top-notch firms. She started by working as a Production Assistant with KCRW and gaining valuable experience in media production. Monique then went on to work at TAG Strategic as a Manager of Business Development & Client Services. She moved on to work as Investor Relations for Velos Partners, where she gained further expertise in Investments. Monique was the Programs Manager/Startup Accelerator Lead for Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship- Greater LA before working as the Chief of Staff at Core Innovation Capital. She later went on to co-found Build In SE, where she focused on Building community. Monique is currently an Investor at Mucker Capital where she continues to explore new startups and support budding companies. She is also dedicated to supporting future generations of VCs as an active member of VCUpAndComers.
