Juan Miramontes is a public health advocate, consultant, and gaming content creator. Born and raised in Los Angeles, Juan has witnessed the disparities in healthcare within the Latinx community. This, along with his parents being cancer survivors, pushed him to pursue public health, ultimately leading him to UC Berkeley. At Berkeley, he discovered the idea that where you live, work, and play determine your health. Since then, Juan has been an advocate for equity, inclusion, and diversity, and a solution-seeker in the field of public health.

Juan has experience as an Associate Consultant and Regulatory Affairs Analyst at Kaiser Permanente and Oscar Health, respectively. He specializes in project management, program assessment/evaluation, research, consulting, and solution design. Juan is skilled in logistics coordination, human-centered design, strategy development, and quality assurance. Furthermore, Juan has worked as an Instructional Designer at UC Berkeley, an Administrative Assistant at Prevention Institute and EOP, and a Public Policy Intern at CHBRP. On the side, Juan is a Twitch streamer and content creator for Lookmountains Gaming and is the former host and producer of The LatinxHustle Podcast.
