Geoff Hancock is an accomplished engineer and sustainability advocate who has dedicated his career to the regeneration of ecosystems and the promotion of a more balanced, integrated relationship between humans and nature. He holds an M.Eng. in Energy Systems Engineering and a BSE in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan, and has worked in a variety of roles related to energy efficiency, building performance, and sustainable design.

Geoff's professional experience includes stints as an Energy Systems Engineer at Root3 Technologies Inc., Ecotelligent Buildings, and Ecotelligent Homes, as well as a Senior Energy Engineer at Allana Buick & Bers, Inc. He has also served as an Instructor at Pacific Gas and Electric Company and as a Vehicle Performance Engineer at Toyota. Geoff's most recent role is as an AER Implementation Manager at WattTime.org, where he coordinates efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from power generation.

Throughout his career, Geoff has been a staunch advocate for the transformation of existing buildings into high-performance, sustainable spaces that promote wellness, resilience, and environmental responsibility. He has co-founded multiple companies focused on this goal, including Verdera, where he served as the Director of Engineering and Energy Systems Engineer.
