Aaron Linsdau is a record-breaking explorer, motivational speaker, and safety expert who shares his experiences surviving in some of the most inhospitable places on Earth. He is a graduate of San Diego State University-California State University, where he studied Electrical and Electronics Engineering and earned a Master's degree in Computational Science. Prior to his current role as a Motivational Speaker at New Century Expeditions, he worked as a Senior Staff Engineer at Intevac and as a Sr EE at Callaway Golf. Aaron is best known for setting the world record for the longest solo expedition to the South Pole in 2013, skiing for 720 miles in temperatures as low as -40 degrees Celsius. Back from the brink of death, he imparts his knowledge about overcoming challenges, developing a positive attitude, cultivating grit, and planning for safety to teams, leaders, and individuals. By changing the way his audiences think about the impossible through his anecdotal talks, Aaron inspires a long-term dedication to safety and risk management.
